Altered Elements Series

 

My recent “Altered Elements” series combines  traditional media such as acrylic paint, watercolor, and graphite with original photography, digital scans and manipulation, and archival pigment printing.  Each piece is unique, because the artist’s hand plays a vital role in the finished work of art. A new technique, which I call, “canvas inlay“ is incorporated into some of this new work.

 

The first two black and white images shown below, "Let It Slide #1" and "Let It Slide #2" were purchased by Zaha Hadid Architects for the One Thousand Museum residential tower in Miami, Florida

This Series is comprised of works on canvas, as well as collages, mixed media works on paper, and limited edition prints.
